We’re hiring a highly analytical Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, secure, and optimize our company’s data infrastructure.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and ensure that our data systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.


Position Overview:
The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our database environments. You will work closely with our IT and development teams to ensure data integrity, availability, and security while ensuring that our database systems support the company’s business objectives and growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain database systems for optimal performance and security.

  • Perform routine database backups, restores, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability.

  • Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.

  • Manage database security, including user access control, encryption, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of applications with databases.

  • Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and security protocols.

  • Ensure data integrity and recoverability by testing database disaster recovery plans.

  • Manage database migrations, upgrades, and patching.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in database administration (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

  • In-depth knowledge of database structures, theories, and best practices.

  • Strong understanding of data security, backups, and recovery methods.

  • Experience with cloud-based database solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Proficiency in SQL scripting, database optimization, and performance tuning.

  • Familiarity with database tools and platforms like MongoDB, Oracle, or NoSQL databases is a plus.
